Brush Strokes Gallery is composed of juried artists with diverse
styles, media, and backgrounds from the historic Fredericksburg,
Virginia area. Our group formally began in April of 2004 when we
opened our doors at 108 Hanover Street. After a move to the
atrium and the mezzanine of 810 Caroline Street, our gallery is
currently at 824 Caroline Street, beginning midway down
passageway to right of door.
The founding artists envisioned a venue to display art work and
to offer opportunities for the surrounding community to
become more involved in the local visual arts culture. Our
artistic endeavors have grown in addition to our gallery.
Members also exhibit at Mary Washington Hospital along the
first-level hallway to left past the gift shop and at showings in
other local venues throughout the year.
The new work of each member and one featured artist can be
seen starting with a First Friday reception of each month from 6
to 9 pm.

downtown Fredericksburg, 824 Caroline Street.
