My focus in painting is to capture the beauty and spirituality of life. I work to express what I am feeling about a scene, event, or feeling. I enjoy painting in realistic and impressionistic styles, as well as in abstract. Each style has a place in my work and I vary it for the feeling that is needed in each piece.

I am comfortable working in oils, acrylics, watercolor, and mixed media. I enjoy doing commissions and have done portraits of people, pets, homes, and classic cars. I give private lessons in drawing and painting in my studio.
