Denise Denecke
You have probably seen her art at some of our Old Town restaurants -- Sammy T's, Kybecca, Bistro Bethem, Red Dragon Brewery, Sunken Well, and others. Now, Denise's home base is Brush Strokes Gallery.
She graduated from the Newark School of Fine Industrial Art. She has worked for years as an interior designer at major firms in the North East and more recently as a free lance interior designer.
Now, retired from a successful career in interior design, she hones her skills in fine art painting. Denise also paints on a commission basis. This successful part of her art business began nearly a decade ago and focuses on the art of people and pets.
Denise says, "Old Town Fredericksburg fills me with energy like no other place. I am looking forward to becoming part of an artists' community where I can grow, be connected, find inspiration, and truly be part of something special.
