Welder by day...Artist by Night...
That's how it all began for Pete Zinck.
Indeed, a Fredericksburg based welder/fabricator, Zinck followed an unusual path into the art world.
Having worked in the automotive repair
industry for over 24 years, Pete pursued the pragmatic and forged a steady living for his family. But when he began welding in 2006, he discovered his artistic side.
With a truly unique and whimsical artistic vision, Pete creates metal sculptures from seemingly unlikely artistic materials. Yet, his extraordinary pieces have captured the hearts of discerning art collectors.
His passion to create metal sculptures
using mostly recycled auto parts has taken the art world by storm.
Pete notes that the works of Ruth Moillie have greatly influenced his work.
