Stacy Gaglio
Stacy studied and earned her degree in Interior Design from the Fashion Institute of Technology in NYC. She has designed high-end residential homes for the past twenty plus years.
For this reason, it isn't surprising that for Stacy, drawing architecture and interiors became not only a professional endeavor, but a personal passion as well.
She says, "My favorite subjects to draw and paint are buildings, homes, and old signage. I love things that were once beautiful and now are old and forgotten."
Stacy also notes that she loves to explore and before painting, she seeks just the right building, photograph it, and paint it. For Stacy, the process of bringing a subject back to life through art is inspiring.
Stacy primarily works in acrylics, but she loves pen and ink because of the simplicity of black and white compositions.
