Are you an artist looking for a creative and encouraging community?

 

Brush Strokes Gallery, one of the area's most established cooperative galleries, may be the fine art home you are looking for. 

​

We seek individuals with a strong artistic vision, a demonstrated level of mastery in the artist’s chosen medium and work that meets gallery standards and compliments the variety of work we currently exhibit.  Most of our members have appeared in juried shows on the local and national level.

 

If you are interested in finding out more about the membership process or in submitting an application, it's easy.  

MEMBERSHIP RESPONSIBILITIES & OPPORTUNITIES

As a co-operative gallery, we work together as a team.   

Our gallery takes a 15% commission on all sales.

 

All members will:

* Pay monthly dues of $100

* Docent each calendar schedule

* Serve on one committee

  

In addition, members will enjoy participating in First Fridays and attend quarterly meetings.

Now, tell us about yourself.

Brush Strokes Gallery juries in artists based on their single preferred medium. Which one is yours?

Please present FIVE pieces in your preferred medium, along with required information. Images should be .jpg about 1MB. For example, Fork & Knife, Acrylic 8x10 $200.00.

Once we have reviewed your application and images, a Brush Strokes member will contact you to schedule an in-person interview and jury where you will also be required to bring in samples of your work.


After the interview the jury will send a recommendation to the full membership for a vote.  We’ll be in touch soon after that!  If you have any questions about our gallery or process, please send them to brushstrokesfxbg@gmail.com
