A First Friday to Remember: Celebrating Stacy Gerise at Brush Strokes Gallery

What a wonderful evening at Brush Strokes Gallery! Nearly 700 visitors joined us on First Friday, October 2, to celebrate the work of Stacy Gerise McCarney Gaglio. Thank you to everyone who stopped in, explored the exhibition, and supported local art.
For Stacy, the evening was especially meaningful—a chance to reconnect with old friends and meet new ones. Your kind words, encouragement, and interest in her work made the reception a night to remember.
Stacy’s exhibition ran October 1 through November 1, giving visitors a month to experience her work in historic downtown Fredericksburg. Located at 824 Caroline Street, across from Goolrick’s, Brush Strokes Gallery is surrounded by the shops, restaurants, and creative spaces that make downtown such a welcoming destination.
The turnout reminded us how much community support means to artists. Every visit, conversation, and word of encouragement helps make Brush Strokes a wonderful place to share original art.
