A Wonderful First Friday Celebrating Valerie McCarney’s “Faces & Places”
What an incredible evening at Brush Strokes Gallery! More than 500 visitors joined us on First Friday, August 7, to celebrate the opening of Valerie McCarney’s “Faces & Places” and explore the original artwork created by our gallery members.
Thank you to everyone who stopped by and made the reception so special. Whether you came to support Valerie, discovered the gallery during your downtown stroll, or returned to see what’s new, we were delighted to welcome you. Your enthusiasm and conversations made for a memorable night.
“Faces & Places” was on display August 6–30, giving visitors an opportunity to enjoy Valerie’s work alongside the gallery’s varied collection. It was a pleasure to celebrate her creativity with so many friends, family members, and fellow art lovers.
Located at 824 Caroline Street, across from the newly renovated Goolrick’s, Brush Strokes Gallery is a welcoming stop while exploring historic downtown Fredericksburg. We love being part of a neighborhood where art, local businesses, and community gatherings bring people together.
Thank you again to Valerie and everyone who helped make our August 7 reception such a success. Your support means so much to our artists!
Make art part of your next downtown visit.
