Homegrown Hues: Celebrating Local Art and Community at Sammy T’s

Updated: 1 hour ago
Art, creativity, and community came together for a wonderful evening at the Homegrown Hues Opening Reception at Sammy T’s! Featuring local artists from Art First and Brush Strokes Galleries, the reception celebrated the talent that makes Fredericksburg’s arts community so special.
Held on Monday, October 12, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., at 801 Caroline Street, the gathering offered guests an opportunity to admire original artwork, meet the artists in person, and connect with fellow art lovers. Seasonal cocktails and hors d’oeuvres added to the evening’s festive spirit.
It was a pleasure to bring our two gallery communities together and share our enthusiasm for local art. Thank you to everyone who attended—your support helped make the reception such a memorable occasion.
A special thank-you goes to Wayne Russell, Bill Harris, and the team at Sammy T’s for making it all happen. We’re grateful for the work and hospitality that brought this celebration to life.
Homegrown Hues was a lovely reminder of what we can create together. Thank you for supporting local artists and helping Fredericksburg’s creative community thrive!
